Working toward faith

I really think that I’m making some progress at work.  They flew me south today to fix a problem with another office and I actually felt like I had some responsibility.  I am really enjoying the new position and I believe that people I’ve worked with for years now (that I’ve never supervised before) are starting to get used to me being a supervisor.

I hope I don’t mess things up and I hope that people really see that I’m here to help them and not hender them.

I spent the last several months with my stomache in knots thinking that co-workers thought that I was trying to over-use my “power” as a supervisor, but I’ve tried so hard to just be me and continue the job as if nothing has changed so that we don’t have an interuption in the work schedule.  I guess it’s working so far, and we have so much left to do until we achieve the goals we set out for the first part of this year.  I’m confident that the team I work with will meet and beat that goal.
